4 Tips For Booking And Getting Ready For Your First Skydiving Experience

Posted on

If you know you want to go skydiving, there are some things you are going to want to do to ensure your first experience is a great one.

Book an Early Time Slot

When it comes to booking a time for your skydiving experience, you will want to go with one of the earliest booking times available. By picking an early time, especially in the spring or summer, you are more likely to get good weather. The weather is cooler and nice in the morning, and often, things like thunderstorms can roll in during the afternoon time. You will not be surprised by a random thunderstorm in the morning; if the weather is bad when you wake up, you will just know that your appointment will be changed.

With an early appointment, you will not have to deal with delays, as you are already first in line when it is time to jump. With an early morning jump, you will experience less overall wait time as well, so you will not have to stand around, letting your nerves build up before you jump.

Go During the Week

Many skydiving outfits charge based on demand. There is a generally higher demand for Friday and Saturday jumps when more people have time off. If you want to get the lowest price possible, for a weekday jump. If you only have the weekend available, go for a Sunday jump instead of a Saturday jump when things are not as busy.

Always Get the Video and Photos

You only get to go skydiving for the first time once. This is not an experience where you will be able to pull out your camera phone and record your jump yourself. That is why you should ask about having video and photos taken to capture the memories of what is happening. Additionally, the entire experience is going to go by really quickly. With photos and videos, you will be able to relieve what happened and confirm to yourself that you did, in fact, skydive.

Get There on Time

Next, you are going to want to get to the skydiving site on time. You will not want to get there an hour early; that will just increase your wait time. Try to arrive within 15-minutes of your appointment time. This will give you time to go through the paperwork and start the training on time.

When it comes to your first skydiving experience, book an early appointment, go during the week, pay for the video and photos, and get to your appointment on time but not too early.
